Description
The 2021 Yamaha MT-09 has been revised with many features including a refined chassis and engine package.
Our R&D team immediately went to work on the development for the new Yamaha and called on our AT2 profile to handle the power and torque of the 890cc three cylinder - torque monster engine. The AT2 is perfect styling for the MT-09 and incorporates our exclusive Works Finish an aggressively styled matte finish carbon fiber end cap complimented by a facet-formed tip while adding an aggressive GP tone.
Right away the bike lost 6 pounds by removing the stock system and installing the AT2 Race Series full system. With plenty of torque on the bottom end we focused on bringing the power more to the top of the spectrum. After development and testing was all said and done the AT2 gave the MT-09 a nice 2.7% increase in max HP and a 1.6% in max torque.

New Yoshimura Works Finish takes on a unique coloring after it goes through a heat cycle on the motorcycle that looks much like those titanium works components our factory racers use.

This exhaust is a major upgrade over stock. The quality of all the parts is excellent and what you would expect from Yoshi. They also fixed the packaging everyone was complaining about. Unboxed in minutes.
Cons: This is a very loud exhaust. You’ll get a drone in your helmet on deceleration. (Other than that it rips and sounds sick)
The instruction manual is not showing a 2024 bike. On a 2024, you will have to cut the sheathing and peel back the electrical tape that joins your o2 harness to the left side turn signal in order to reroute the wire where they want it. It’s incredibly annoying and tedious. You really need a harness extender almost double the length of what they provide to avoid this.
