Vehicle Fitment
Wish the brake light was just a bit larger (height)
Bought a new GSX-8R recently and was looking to eliminate the huge rear fender that came stock on the back. Bought this fender eliminator kit and the bike looks real clean now.
Bought the tail tidy within the hour of buying my new bike. Had to get rid of the eyesore that it came with. Really improved the look of the bike. Easy install, I completed it with no issues and was happy to not have to bother my already busy husband with it. Really happy with the purchase.
Great build quality, easy installation, amazing looks. The only reason I can't give a 5 is because it was missing 2 8mm nuts for the tail light and they also do not appear listed in the hardware list in the instructions. I was able to salvage them from the stock fender assembly's reflectors but there was no mention in the instructions of having to do that. Once I did that, however, the assembly and installation was beyond easy and I couldn't be happier with the installed product.
Used the stock turn signals, kit was plug and play. A bit tricky to assemble but hindsight 20/20 I probably should've done it during the day when I wasn't dead tired. Excellent kit, looks great, tail light and license plate lights are bright.
